edinburgh's hogmanay

"Should auld acquaintance be forgot...." Ah, the words of the immortal Bard, Robert Burns help us remember that New Year is a time for excessive partying leading to amnesia and the loss of key facts like who you friends are, where you are, and what your own name is. Hogmanay is Scotland's New Year, celebrated on the 31st December. Celebrations start around the 27th and continue to around the 3rd January. The now world famous Street Party is THE place to be.
